Collectible Vintage Soviet «Vympel» Luxury Wristwatch (1960s, 1-MChZ) – 23 Jewels, Gold-Plated Case
History
1st accuracy class. Produced for only one year, from 1963 to 1964. The watch was awarded a Diploma and a Gold Medal at the international exhibition and fair in Leipzig.
The mechanism was developed at the 1MChz named after Kirov. The height of the mechanism is 2.9 mm (caliber 2209).
"Vympel" “Poljot” watches are the premier watches worn by cosmonauts and military commanders. “Poljot” watches were made in the 1 MChZ KIROVA. The watches have higher quality jewelled movements and more detailed design.
